Out of the blue, Ryan (Chase Joilet) learns of the death of his absentee biological father by way of inheriting a 2.5 million dollar home. While staying there with his pregnant fiancé (Sara Montez) he takes the time to learn who his father actually was. The horrible truths he uncovers force him into a psychological tailspin, alienating his loved ones and sending him on a dangerous path that could destroy all that’s good in his life. First time feature director Tyler Savage honed his skills working alongside the legendary Terrence Malick and now seems primed to make a name for himself. Fantastic performances from Joliet and Montez and a patient sinister narrative make this one hell of an impressive debut.
