Considering that Jason’s blood-drenched saga is 11 films deep, remake not included, the franchise’s fourth entry has one of horror’s most laughably ill-advised titles. A shame, though, because THE FINAL CHAPTER is arguably the best FRIDAY THE 13TH film, featuring some of the Masked One’s best kills, characters who are more than just body-count fodder, legitimate scares, and Corey Feldman’s best performance this side of THE LOST BOYS. —Matt Barone
